About us
As the principal podiatrist at The Foot Fella Podiatry, Mr. Samuel Lock brings extensive knowledge and experience to the practice. After making a significant career shift, Sam initially trained as a Foot Health Practitioner (FHP) but soon recognised his desire to deepen his understanding and provide more comprehensive care for his patients.
He then pursued his studies in Podiatry, earning a Bachelor of Science with Honours in the field and becoming a member of the Royal College of Podiatrists (MRCPod). Sam is fully registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and holds POM-A and POM-S annotations, which allow him to prescribe and administer a variety of medications, including injectables and antibiotics, directly to patients.
Sam is passionate about integrating the latest evidence-based practices and patient-centered care into his work. He operates from a fully equipped clinic and offers services in nursing homes, residential facilities, and through home visits. His practice encompasses not only general podiatry but also a variety of treatments, including minor procedures such as nail surgery and Falknerβs needling, an effective solution for persistent verrucas. Additionally, he specialises in managing various musculoskeletal conditions to relieve pain and enhance function.
Outside of podiatry, Sam enjoys staying active, whether at the gym or outdoors. Football is his favorite hobby, and he continues to play regularly. He also relishes the opportunity to travel and explore new places, especially when it comes to trying new cuisines.
At The Foot Fella Podiatry, we are dedicated to enhancing your foot health and mobility through the latest techniques and best practices in podiatry. Our clinic offers a warm welcome and develops a professional, tailored treatment plan to meet each individual's needs. The most rewarding aspect of my job is helping you recover and connecting with new people.
